The course compares and assesses theories, practices and alternative pedagogies for solving language-related problems. In addition, it exposes students to the role of Applied Linguistics and SLA pedagogy for teaching and learning English.

Entry Requirements: 

IELTS 5.0

i. A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a min. CGPA of 2.50,  

OR

ii. A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, subjected to a min. of five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.

OR

iii. A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, and does not have five (5) years working experience in a relevant field shall undergo appropriate prerequisite courses.
