Overview: 

Research is "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge". It involves the collection, organization, and analysis of information to increase understanding of a topic or issue. Basically, approaches to research depend on epistemologies, which vary considerably both within and between humanities and sciences. Therefore, this module provides students with an understanding of ethnographic methods and survey methods. It is designed to equip students with the skills to conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
