Micro-credential certification in Sustainability Thinking MPU2432 (DMC) **
This module introduces the principles of sustainable development and sustainable thinking, unpacks the 17 UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and explores how to apply the concept of sustainability in the Malaysian context. Learners not only gain insights on how they can play a role in achieving the SDG but also work in a diverse group, design, implement and report on a project on sustainable development in the fields related to the SDGs. This module aims to raise awareness amongst the SEGi University Community on sustainable development problems that have been occurring on campus, in local community, Malaysia or globally. Through this, students will get to know how sustainable development impact our environment, society and economy. Additionally, students will learn to critically access current situation, generate creatively solutions to solve these issues related to sustainable development and advocate for actions. Students develop problem solving skill and design thinking.

Note: To enter the Diploma In Mass Communication programme's (Pathway) applicants will need to have the following pre-requisites:
IELTS 5.0
i. A pass in senior high school or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 3 subjects and a credit in English at O level or its equivalent;
OR
ii. A pass in SKM level 3 and pass senior high school with a credit in English
OR
iii Certificate or its equivalent and a credit in English.
OR
iv A Certificate in Media and Communication or its equivalent
