Overview: 

This course provides an overview of the linguistic and language acquisition theories in the selection, adaptation and development of materials and resources for the ESL classroom. It also identifies the necessary stages needed in the process such as needs analysis, principles for evaluation, selection, adaptation and production of materials and resources. The course provides practice for students to select, evaluate, adapt and produce materials and resources for the ESL classroom.
