Overview: 

This course aims to introduce the study of industrial and organizational psychology on improving the effectiveness and fairness of human resources management decisions. It seeks to determine people's behavior in the workplace. It covers various personnel issues such as job analysis, employee recruitment and evaluation methods; challenges and procedures in the selection of personnel, training and development; employee motivation; job stress, and job satisfaction. Students will be introduced to work groups and teams in organizations and the various leadership styles and theories related to leadership.
