Overview: 

The programme is designed to develop an understanding among students of the concepts and principles of financial accounting and reporting for public entities, including groups of companies. It introduces the conceptual framework, accounting for non-current assets, accounting for share capital, advanced financial statement analysis and builds on knowledge and skills in preparing the consolidated financial statements. Students are exposed to the financial reporting regulatory framework and are expected to display an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards applicable to public entities.
